Some people believe that the niceties of language are unimportant as long as the message is clear.  To me, the abuse and misuse of language conveys the very clear message that a company does not have an eye for detail and it will almost guarantee that I will not buy from them.  The message would have to be very strong to persuade me otherwise.  And I am not alone.  Why risk alienating prospective clients unneccesarily?

I love words.  I love the power of words.  I loved books before I could read.  I still read all the time.  I have fully embraced the Kindle phenomenon.  I spend a great deal of time writing.

Why am I telling you this? 

I'd like you to understand that, for me, working with words is not just a job - it's even more than a passion - it's a way of life.

It won't surprise you to learn that I studied English at University and that I am a qualified English teacher. For me, the learning process is ongoing. I'm never happier than when I'm learning something new or crafting a well-turned out piece to communicate with others. And, yes, I am very particular about apostrophes.
