About Fiona Murchie

The power of the written word has long fascinated me and it has taken me down some different paths.

As an English teacher, I spent a number of years teaching other people how to write. However, the time came when it was my turn.

Having had some articles published in magazines, I found myself drawn more and more towards commercial writing and began to market myself as a freelance copywriter. 

The response I received from my first clients was very encouraging and I have gone from strength to strength ever since. 

I enjoy the satisfaction of a job well done and I have been fortunate to be able to work with some very talented people. Between us we have created some great work. 

And now when I teach, as I still do very occasionally, it is with the confidence that comes from knowing that I have won my stripes!
